Thierry Guetta, known as Mr. Brainwash, was born in France. He moved to Los Angeles at the age of 15 and became deeply involved in the world of street art through video documentation. He documented the creative processes of artists such as Invader, Shepard Fairey, and Banksy, and was encouraged by Banksy to begin his career as an artist.
Banksy\u0026#39;s first documentary film, "Exit Through the Gift Shop," depicts the behind-the-scenes of the street art movement and his transformation into Mr. Brainwash, and has received worldwide acclaim, including being nominated for the Best Documentary Feature at the 83rd Academy Awards.
He later designed the cover of Madonna\u0026#39;s greatest hits album, "CELEBRATION," as well as artwork for many other famous musicians, including Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Black Keys, and Rick Ross.
He continues to work around the world, creating powerful and positive expressions that combine street art and pop culture.
