Born in Nancy, France in 1981, he was exposed to visual arts from an early age in urban environments, honing his sensibilities through observing materials, shapes, and the traces of time. Raised in a modest household, he was deeply drawn to the expressions of materials hidden in everyday life, and these experiences form the foundation of his current practice. Hoping to make a living through art, he moved to Paris, France\u0026#39;s capital. Instead of choosing the traditional path of art school, he forged his own unique style through hands-on learning in a furniture maker\u0026#39;s workshop and with an art dealer specializing in materials. Through these hands-on experiences, he gained an understanding of art history from ancient to contemporary, as well as a deep knowledge of a variety of materials, including stone, wood, marble, metal, and composites. His ability to instantly discern materials and styles is a major strength, and is reflected in his work, along with his solid technical skills. Combining his self-taught research, experimental spirit, and influences from popular culture, he has constructed a unique artistic language that transcends history and materiality.
