1993年、中国生まれ。多摩美術大学大学院 美術研究科博士後期課程美術専攻修了。「グローカル化」に焦点を当て、日本発の「カワイイ」文化を歴史的・考現学的な視点から研究し、その解体と再構築の可能性を探ることをコンセプトに制作を行う。言語や国境を越え、新たな「カワイイ・カルチャー」の表現と発信に取り組んでいる。代表的なモチーフである〈東京少女〉は、作家自身の理想像でもある架空の抽象的な少女像であり、原宿の街角から世界各地へと広がりながら、時代や文化と共に変容し続ける存在として描かれる。制作では、「越境的イラストレーション表現」の視点を軸に、浮世絵やマンガ表現とも関わる「引目鉤鼻」の人物描法を取り入れ、現代に生きる少女像を独自の様式として再構築している。少女という存在が持つ繊細さや危うさ、柔軟さ、偏り、そして時に残酷さを含んだ複雑な感覚を画面に映し出し、〈東京少女〉として表現している。近年は、絵画としての構成、色彩、ブラッシュストローク、線の強度にも重点を置き、生命感を伴う現代的な少女像を追求している。アニメーションやブックデザイン分野でも受賞歴を持ち、「越境的イラストレーション表現」を軸に、国内外で個展・グループ展を精力的に開催している。
