He began working as an illustrator and graphic designer in 1997. Since 2000, he has expanded his scope of activities by participating in live paintings that combine fashion and music as well as merchandise designs for companies under the name "YOICHIRO." Highly acclaimed for his extensive experience and powerful, original design skills, he has worked on live paintings and merchandise designs for fashion brands such as LOUIS VUITTON and COACH, as well as artists such as HYDE, GLAY HISASHI, LiSA, EXILE, and TRF. He has also worked on numerous projects, including creating murals throughout the year at Summer Sonic. He also designed graffiti for the Tokyo Revengers, a group immensely popular among young people, demonstrating his talent in a variety of fields. In recent years, he has expanded his scope of activities in a variety of ways, exhibiting at art fairs overseas and collaborating with the Swiss luxury watch brand CVSTOS.
