Rafael Sliks
Born in São Paulo, Brazil in 1981, Rafael moved to the Bela Vista district in 1996, where he encountered Pichação, a type of graffiti art unique to São Paulo, and gradually developed a passion for it. His artist name, Sliks, is a reversed version of the English word Skils. This word, which refers to the ability to efficiently achieve a goal, is embodied in his artwork, along with Rafael's beliefs. His work is inspired by the sublimation found in Eastern spiritual practices, including calligraphy, martial arts, and yoga. Using a special nozzle called a fat cap, he intuitively paints on canvas through a series of repetitive movements. His large, dynamic strokes, while varying in intensity like calligraphy, maintain unity through a regular arrangement like a mantra. His cutting-edge expression has been highly acclaimed, and he has held numerous solo exhibitions both in Japan and abroad. He has also expanded his range of activities, including designing trams for SYTRAL Mobilités, the French transportation system that selects internationally renowned contemporary artists.

If your artwork arrives damaged, defective, or differs from the item you ordered, we will gladly arrange a return or exchange. Please contact us by email within 7 days of delivery, and we will provide return instructions, including the return address.

As each artwork is individually handcrafted by the artist, slight variations in color, texture, and design are a natural part of the creative process. Minor irregularities, such as subtle color variations or small marks, are not considered defects but rather characteristics that make each piece unique.
Returns and Exchanges Cannot Be Accepted in the Following Cases
- More than 7 days have passed since delivery.
- The artwork has been used or displayed.
- The return is requested for personal reasons (e.g. change of mind, incorrect order, or expectations differing from the actual artwork).
- The packing slip or invoice has been lost.
- The artwork has been damaged or altered after delivery.
- The returned item is not in its original condition.
- The original packaging, when considered part of the artwork, has been opened, damaged, or is missing.
- The artwork was clearly marked as non-returnable or non-exchangeable at the time of purchase.
- Customized or commissioned artworks.
