Originally from Hoboken, New Jersey.
A mixed-media artist, he blends pop culture with traditional crafts to create a unique balance. While working freelance in the New York apparel industry in the 1990s, he learned textile techniques and developed his own unique digital embroidery techniques. He repurposes unused luxury brand packaging and products, and combines them with his own embroidery know-how, digitally rendering, and 3D printing to create intricate textiles and packaging. His colorful embroideries, each involving millions of stitches and complex embroidery techniques, take hours to complete. Reflecting the aesthetics of pop culture, his work provokes questions about luxury consumerism. Combining fashion and elegance, his works have attracted numerous art collectors not only in the United States but also in Italy and Japan, including prominent commercial establishments such as Lincoln Center in New York and Catch restaurant in Los Angeles.
